Pupae Housefly (Musca domestica) pupae are sold for research purposes, food for reptiles etc. (the customer let's the pupae hatch to adult flies) and pollination (in confined areas).

 


EPHESTIA KUEHNIELLA

Beneficial Insectary produces the moth Ephestia kuehniella for the production of Trichogramma. Following below are several forms of Ephestia eggs we have available for sale. Large Ephestia orders may need advance notice to ensure availability.

FRESH EPHESTIA EGGS

Fresh Ephestia eggs can be used as food for various predators and the maintenance of Trichogramma cultures.

FROZEN EPHESTIA EGGS

Frozen Ephestia eggs can be used as food for numerous predators such as Orius spp.


WHEAST

Wheast is used at Beneficial Insectary for the production of green lacewing. We mix our own diet which, when mixed 50/50 with sugar, can be used by the grower as an attractant for lacewing adults and other beneficial insects.
