Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering excellent customer support while ensuring accurate and timely order entry and processing. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email and plays a critical role in maintaining smooth order flow and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming calls on a multi-line phone system in a professional and timely manner 
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate product, pricing, and order information 
  • Perform daily order entry, including entering, reviewing, and verifying customer orders for accuracy 
  • Process order changes, cancellations, and updates while ensuring all system information is correct 
  • Coordinate with internal teams (production, shipping, quality, etc.) to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time 
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status, delays, or issues 
  • Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach

Position Summary

The Shop Technician / Ranch Maintenance Technician supports the BV Production Facility by performing maintenance, repair, fabrication, and installation of equipment and infrastructure. This position also assists with comprehensive ranch operations and maintenance across a 550-acre ranch. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, versatility, and the ability to perform a wide range of duties in both shop and outdoor environments year-round.

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintain and repair existing production and shop equipment.
  • Fabricate, install, and modify new equipment as required to support operations.
  • Perform general shop maintenance and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Operate a wide range of power tools, including skill saws, chop saws, jig saws, angle grinders, heat guns, rivet guns, reciprocating saws (Sawzall), sanders, chainsaws, and weed eaters.
  • Operate and maintain shop machinery, including mills, lathes, drill presses, band saws, MIG welders, aluminum welders, cutting torches, brake presses, and shears.
  • Work with various materials, including wood, steel, aluminum, and polycarbonate.

Perform basic electrical installation, diagnostics, and repairs, including: 

  • AC systems (120V / 220V)
  • DC low-voltage systems
  • Motors, converters, and relays
  • Operate and maintain ranch and wheeled equipment, including dump trucks, tractors, backhoes, pickup trucks, spreaders, and ATVs/quads.
  • Perform maintenance and minor repairs on all assigned equipment.
  • Support ranch operation and maintenance activities, including irrigation ditch maintenance, field irrigation, discing, mowing, levee construction and repair, and fence installation and repair.
  • Perform tree and debris cleanup using chainsaws.
  • Relocate wheel lines and support irrigation systems as needed.
  • Perform outdoor duties in all weather conditions year-round, as operational needs require.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Area 77 Entry-Level Packaging Technician supports daily packaging operations by accurately preparing materials, following Quality Control (QC) work instructions, and ensuring all products are packaged, labeled, and handled correctly. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, traceability, and compliance with Area 77 SOPs, QC requirements, and safety standards. The Packaging Technician works closely with Packaging Leads, QC, and Operations to support efficient and accurate production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Packaging & Production Support

  • Package finished products in accordance with Area 77 SOPs and QC work instructions.
  • Handle raw materials carefully to prevent contamination, damage, or product mix-ups.
  • Assist with preparing approved mixes by following QC recipes and instructions.
  • Stage completed products accurately for downstream processes or shipment.

Label Reading & Verification

  • Read and verify labels for correct species, batch codes, date codes, and expiration dates.
  • Confirm labels match the raw material, mix, or product being packaged.
  • Immediately report labeling discrepancies or concerns to the Packaging Lead, Supervisor, or QC.

Supplies & Documentation

  • Print, review, and follow the daily Supplies Needed Report.
  • Pull required materials and supplies based on production needs.
  • Ensure all materials are properly date-coded prior to use.
  • Accurately and legibly complete all required documentation and production records.

Mixing & QC Compliance

  • Follow QC work instructions exactly when preparing mixes.
  • Use only approved materials, quantities, and recipes.
  • Label all mixes with required species, batch codes, and expiration dates.
  • Store mixes in designated areas using approved containers and vented lids.
  • Do not initiate production runs without required QC approval.

Quality, Safety & Teamwork

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area.
  • Follow all Area 77 SOPs, safety policies, and GMP requirements.
  • Report quality concerns, safety hazards, or process deviations immediately.
  • Work collaboratively with Packaging, QC, and Operations teams.
